Mandala: Berechnung von Mandelbrot- und Julia-Mengen (Einzelbilder)

Menu Fractal:

[interne Parameter] setzt die Werte auf die der Mandelbrot-Menge zwischen c=-2/-1.5 und 2/1.5, Tiefe 1024.
[Parameter laden] läd Daten aus einer Datei und startet nach Begutachtung/Editieren die Berechnung.
[Parameter editieren] erlaubt das gezielte Ändern einzelner Parameter.
[Parameter speichern] speichert die Parameter in einer ini-Datei ab.
[Quit] beendet das Programm.

Menu Bild:

Fotoauflösung

gibt die Größe des zu speichernden Bildes an:
[grob] 900x600 für Vorschau und heranzoomen an geeignete Objekte
[mittel] 1500x1000 für Erstellung von Bildern in Postkartengröße sowie fürs Internet [fein] 4200x2800, das reicht für ein Wandbild der Größe 75x50 cm.
Bei Klick wird die Berechnung neu gestartet.

Bildschirmauflösung

hier lassen sich ein paar Bildschirmauflösungen einstellen. Die Berechnung wird nicht unterbrochen.

sonstiges:

[Berechnen] startet die Berechnung des Bildes. Sollte ab jetzt überflüssig sein.

[Bild speichern] speichert die Zeichenfläche als Bild. Unterstützt wird in dieser Version nur das PNG-Format.
Beim Speichern so lange warten, bis das Programm Vollzug meldet. Das dauert bei der Feinauflösung ein wenig. Bis dahin sollte die GUI einfrieren.
Beim Speichern im Netzwerk geht das Ganze schon mal ins Nirwana, die Gründe sind noch nicht bekannt.

Menu Sprache:

Es stehen 2 Sprachen zur Verfügung, in dieser Version Deutsch(0) und Englisch(1). Hier kann zwischen den Sprachen umgeschaltet werden.
Ein Neustart ist nicht erforderlich.

Sollte Englisch die bevorzugte Sprache sein, und ein Tool zur Verfügung shehen, das JAR-Files editieren kann, so kann man in /texte die Namen der Sprachdateien lang_0.def und lang_1.def vertauschen. lang_0.def ist die Sprache, mit der das Programm startet, lang_1.def die Zweitsprache.

Zeichenfeld:

  1. Teilbereich zoomen: Mit der linken Maustaste diesen Teilbereich markieren (drag)
  2. Koordinaten eines Punktes auslesen: mit der linken Maustaste in Zeichenfeld klicken
  3. zu einem Punkt die zugehörige Julia-Menge erstellen: mit der rechten Raste den Punkt im Zeichenfeld klicken

Farbschema:

Es stehen derzeit 7 verschiedene Farbschemata zur Verfügung. Alle sind linear.

  1. Standard-Farben graubraun->hellgelb, rot->blau, gelb->schwarz, rot->grün, danach Wiederholung
  2. schwarz->weiss über den gesamten Iterationsbereich gestreckt
  3. schwarz->weiss mit Wiederholungen, Farbgruppengröße=8
  4. rot->gelb->weiss über den ganzen Bereich gestreckt
  5. rot->gelb->weiss mit Wiederholungen, Farbgruppengröße=8
  6. Regenbogen, beginnend bei Rot, die Menge selbst wird hellgrau gezeichnet.
  7. Verlauf Blau->Rot->Gelb->türkis

Anmerkung zu Version 2.00:

Es können Funktionen mit gebrochenen und negativen Potenzen verwendet werden, z.B. zn=z^2.5+c, sie kosten dann nur erheblich mehr Zeit.

Die Berechnungen laufen im Hintergrund, d.h., auch wenn vorne alles flott reagiert, ist das Programm schwer am Rödeln. Trotzdem oder gerade deshalb gibt es einen immensen Geschwindigkeitsvorteil gegenüber Version 1.

Man kann, wie gewohnt, neue Bilder starten, während sich das letzte noch im Aufbau befindet, ohne dass irgendwas blockiert.

Bei gebrochenen Potenzen bringen Multiprozessormaschinen einen gewaltigen Vorteil.

negative Potenzen

Für die in Wikipedia beschriebenen negativen Potenzen muss man einen Trick anwenden:
Laut Definition der Mandelbrot-Menge ist das Ausgangs-z 0/0i. Bei der Berechnung von z.B. z^-2 würde es Schiffbruch geben, da z^-2 = 1/(z^2), also unendlich ist. Folglich gibt es bei exakter Beachtung der Gleichung einen ziemlich langweiligen Plot.

Viele Programme sparen sich die 1.Iteration, indem sie als Anfangs-Z den c-Wert setzen. Und dann klappt es auch mit der
Berechnung negativer Potenzen.

Das lässt sich hier verwirklichen, indem man bei den Plot-Grenzen von z und c dieselben Zahlen einsetzt.

  3. [Poster] sets high resolution, suitable for posters upto 75cm x 50 cm

  5. [Calculation] starts calculation of the picture (f.i. after stop calculation)
  6. [Stop Calculation] stops calculation, if f.i. consuming too much CPU power

The program coms with 2 languages, German(0) and English(1). You may switch between them without restarting the program.

To make English your startup language, edit the JAR, locate /texte save lang_0.def somewhere else, rename lang_1.def lang_0.def. If further you want to use German, add the saved version lang_0.def as lang_1.def.

Drawing Screen:

Annotations Version 2.0:

Due to a new engine all calculations run in the background. There is no need to stop calculation to free any GUI.

You may use Multibrot Fractals with broken exponents, f.i. zn=z^2.5+c. Beware the calculation of broken or negative powers take pretty long.

In order to get plots with negative exponents, you have to use a little trick:
Per definition the Mandelbrot set ist the one with z=0/0i. If you calculate f.i. z-2 you would get 1/(z*z) = 1/0 (infinite), resulting in a very monotone plot.

Many programs drop the first iteration starting with z0=c, and you may do this too. hochm4.ini is an example of a parameter set showing how to do so. It calculates zn = z-4 + c
